Warranty & Returns Policy

APEX / HYPA / COR_X BOARDCOVERS (Lifetime Warranty)

Ocean and Earth provides a lifetime warranty on the Apex, Hypa, and Cor_X surfboard covers. This warranty is valid for the product’s lifecycle. The warranty covers exclusively defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage due to use or normal wear and tear. Ocean and Earth decide whether a product falls under the warranty at their sole discretion. This decision will be based on objective criteria, such as the condition of the product and the date of purchase.

 

BOARDCOVERS (12 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 12 months from the date of purchase (excluding APEX, HYPA and COR_X). Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse, damage caused by sharp objects or damage caused by dragging board covers and not carrying correctly.

 

TAILPADS (12 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 12 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration of your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse or damage that may be caused by incorrect installation.

 

BAGS / BACKPACKS (3 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 3 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse.

 

RAX / TIE-DOWNS / STORAGE RACKS (3 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 3 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse, or damage that may be caused by incorrect installation. Ocean and Earth or the seller will not be responsible or liable to warrant any damage to any person, persons or property, as Ocean and Earth or the seller cannot be liable or responsible for the installation of this product.

SOFTBOARDS / SURFBOARDS (3 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 3 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse.


LEASH (12 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 12 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse.


WETSUITS / LYCRA (3 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 3 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse.

 

CLOTHING (3 Months)

This product is guaranteed against faulty workmanship or defective materials for 3 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase with receipt must be provided. Ocean and Earth will repair or replace your product after inspection and consideration towards your claim. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or abuse.

 

 

RETURN PROCESS

ALL FAULTY AND CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Copy of proof of purchase from www.oceanandearth.com.au
• Return authorisation number (RAN) issued by Ocean and Earth
• A brief written description of the reason for your return

 

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEM PROCEDURE POLICY

If you have received a damaged or defective item from us, please contact us immediately by email at customerservice@oceanearth.com with a brief description of the item’s problem and your invoice number. We will issue you a return authorisation number (RAN) and supply you with the return address details. Please follow the simple return procedure, and we will arrange an immediate exchange of product, repair or refund. Exchange can only be made where appropriate and if item is available. Repair will be made by Ocean and Earth if required, and we will cover the cost of repairing the item if faulty. The delivery of the repaired or exchanged item back to the buyer will be covered by Ocean and Earth. If a product is unavailable, a full refund will be issued on receipt of product in the same manner as payment was made. Email us at customerservice@oceanearth.com if required

 

CHANGE OF MIND PROCEDURE POLICY

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will give you a seven-day money-back guarantee from the time you receive the goods. Please email us at customerservice@oceanearth.com within that time if you are not satisfied with your purchase so that we can resolve any problems. We will issue you a return authorisation number (RAN) and supply you with the return address details.

This refund policy does not apply to goods that have been worn or used, damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped or broken. All products must be returned in their original condition with original packaging, including dust protector bags and swing tickets.

All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of loss, theft or damaged goods during transit; therefore, we advise you to take out shipment registration or insurance with your postal carrier. Ocean and Earth will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit.

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund and return the items to you without notification, if your return does not comply with our policy. A refund for change of mind will not include the costs incurred by Ocean and Earth for the original delivery charges to the original address provided by the buyer. All refunds will only be exchanged to the purchasing cardholder. Refunds, exchanges or credits will not be accepted under any condition if you fail to meet our above policy procedures, due to a faulty item or change of mind.
